Module 5 of 12 · 全科中文 Primary Care
常见病 Common Acute Problems
Talk through the everyday visits in Mandarin: colds, flu, sore throats, urinary infections and back pain, with a clear word on antibiotics and a safety net every time.
By the end of this module you can…
- Explain colds, flu, sore throats, urinary infections and back pain in plain Mandarin.
- Say clearly when antibiotics help and when they don’t, using 抗生素, not 消炎药.
- Answer requests for antibiotics, shots and IV drips without dismissing the patient.
- Give home care that fits the patient’s habits, and say how long it should last.
- Give a clear safety net: what should bring them back, and what can’t wait.
