1. 您的牙龈发炎了，这是牙周病。Nín de yá yín fā yán le, zhè shì yá zhōu bìng.Your gums are inflamed; this is gum disease.
2. 我用探针量一下牙周袋有多深。Wǒ yòng tàn zhēn liáng yí xià yá zhōu dài yǒu duō shēn.I’ll use a probe to measure how deep the pockets are.
3. 牙结石很硬，刷牙是刷不掉的。Yá jié shí hěn yìng, shuā yá shì shuā bu diào de.Tartar is hard; brushing alone can’t remove it.
4. 刮治会打麻药，不舒服请举手。Guā zhì huì dǎ má yào, bù shū fu qǐng jǔ shǒu.We numb the area for deep cleaning. If you’re uncomfortable, raise your hand.
5. 您的牙龈萎缩了，这颗牙也有点松。Nín de yá yín wěi suō le, zhè kē yá yě yǒu diǎn sōng.Your gums have receded and this tooth is a little loose.
6. 口气重可能跟牙周袋里的细菌有关。Kǒu qì zhòng kě néng gēn yá zhōu dài lǐ de xì jūn yǒu guān.Bad breath may be linked to bacteria in the gum pockets.
7. 有些降压药会让您口干。Yǒu xiē jiàng yā yào huì ràng nín kǒu gān.Some blood-pressure medicines make your mouth dry.
8. 手不方便可以用电动牙刷和牙缝刷。Shǒu bù fāng biàn kě yǐ yòng diàn dòng yá shuā hé yá fèng shuā.If your hands are stiff, use an electric brush and an interdental brush.
9. 晚上把假牙取下来泡水。Wǎn shang bǎ jiǎ yá qǔ xià lái pào shuǐ.Take the denture out at night and soak it.
10. 三个月以后请您回来复查。Sān ge yuè yǐ hòu qǐng nín huí lái fù chá.Please come back in three months for a check.
