Module 4 of 12 · 护理中文 Nursing
疼痛评估 Assessing Pain at the Bedside
Ask about pain in Mandarin: where it hurts, the score, what it feels like, when it comes and what helps. Then tell the patient what you will do.
By the end of this module you can…
- Ask where the pain is, and have the patient point to it.
- Take a 0 to 10 pain score and say it back correctly.
- Ask what the pain feels like: stabbing, dull, burning, cramping.
- Ask whether it is constant or comes in waves, and what makes it worse.
- Offer pain relief, say when you will check again, and spot pain that can’t wait.
