Module 2 of 12 · 肿瘤科中文 Cancer Care
问病史 Symptoms, Health and Family History
Take a cancer history in Mandarin: each symptom, since when and if it is worse, weight, smoking, family, herbs and red flags.
By the end of this module you can…
- Ask about a lump, weight loss, tiredness, cough, bleeding, night sweats and pain in the patient’s own words.
- Pin down since when and whether it is getting worse, then say it back before you chart it.
- Ask about daily life, past illness and surgery, and cancer in the family with the relation and the age.
- Take a smoking, alcohol and betel nut history, and ask about medicines, herbs, supplements and allergies without judgment.
- Ask about the red flags that need the doctor now or 911, and answer worries without promises.
